2023 has been very challenging for me. After years of not looking after my body and taking my health for granted, doctors advised me that I had to drastically change my lifestyle. I was told it was imperative that I improve my diet and nutrition and start exercising, or my health would be at risk. Thankfully, I discovered DCC at just the right time to guide me through this difficult process.
Despite my acute asthma and low fitness levels from a long-term inactivity, Drew was able to provide me with the tools and structure I needed to begin my journey back to a healthy lifestyle. His realistic goal-setting and constant support have allowed me to start modifying my eating habits and keep up with his fitness boot camps on weekends. I have even found a new love for exercising, thanks in no small part to the immediate positive mental health impacts I experience after each DCC training session.
Drew’s technical skills, knowledge and patience have been invaluable for me, and following his fitness programmes has already made a huge difference to my wellbeing, both physically and mentally. I can’t wait to head into the new year in Drew’s new gym to continue my journey to getting my mind and body right.
Sky Franklyn
Sky has been with DCC, doing 3/4 classes a week for the last 8 weeks! Sky has put in the HARD WORK starting in the Glute Group and then jumped straight into the Thursday Fusion 🧪 and then been dabbling in the Com-Con.
Over the last 8 weeks Sky’s fitness has drastically improved, from not being able to do a single chest to floor burpee to doing LOADS!
As you can see Sky’s results show the product of hard work in the gym and her consistent nutrition plan!
Sky has mastered technical lifts such as hip thrusts, deadlifts and DB snatches and is proof that if you really want something YOU can get the results!! All it takes is being disciplined, eating a LOT of protein, sweating and great vibes.
✨ 11 lbs in 8 weeks is incredible and as you can see Sky’s body composition has completely changed. She brings an amazing energy to every class and DCC is proud and privileged to have such an amazing member in our community

Drew has totally changed my understandING of training, for the first time in my life I’m consistently eating well, and making sure I get enough protein to build muscle and recover effectively. I genuinely really enjoy training with Drew and feel so much better for it, mentally and physically. Since working with Drew I have made significant gains in my glutes. For years I have been training to grow them and I couldn’t see any change no matter what I did. I didn’t know what it meant to gym until I did a few PT sessions with Drew. I think my first DOMS lasted for around 4 days, but every bit muscle sorness since has been worth it!
I wouldn’t be able to look at the before photo without the encouragement, expertise and support of Drew. You have nothing but fun in that gym while improving both your physical AND mental health.
The group classes are full of team spirit and the PT is specifically designed to get the best out of you and reach your goals!
2024 is the first year I’ve managed to wear a bikini and feel confident. Get yourself down to DCC, you will benefit in so many ways. Thanks Drew (next goal is to finally manage a pull up)
